In this day and age of when people are disconnected from one another, indeed from their own Selves...and live in a society that operates and bases its decisions from a core of Fear...and when we live in neighborhoods that are no longer "neighbor-hoods", where people have little or no interaction with the folks that live right next door to them...

it's a sad state of our culture (and myself) that my first internal thought was, "what's wrong wih the guy?"; but when you stop for a second, open your mind to it, you realize it is such a simply brilliant & profound idea
as a Sydney girl, i have been lucky enough to see this guy in the streets, giving out hugs... before it became a YouTube phenomena!
I remember just literally stopping in the street and having a huge grin come across my face.
